OneAnswer AI ("we", "our", "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Data We Collect

• Device Identifier: A random anonymous UUID generated on your device, used solely for authentication and quota tracking. This identifier cannot be used to identify you personally.
• User Queries: The text you send is transmitted to AI providers to generate responses. Queries are processed in real time and are not stored on our servers.
• Purchase Data: In-app purchases and subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple. We receive only transaction identifiers to credit your account.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• Name, email address, or phone number
• Location data
• Contacts or calendar data
• Biometric data
• Browsing history

The app does not require user registration of any kind.

Third-Party AI Services

OneAnswer AI uses multiple third-party AI services to generate responses. When you submit a query, the text of your question (and attached images or documents, if any) is sent to the following AI providers for processing:

• OpenAI (GPT-4o) — Privacy Policy · API Data Usage Policy
• Google (Gemini 2.0 Flash) — API Terms · Privacy Policy
• Anthropic (Claude) — Privacy Policy · API Terms

Important: We access these services through their API (Application Programming Interface) tiers. Under each provider's API terms of service, data submitted through the API is not used to train or improve their AI models. Your queries are processed in real time and are not retained by these providers beyond the duration necessary to generate a response.

All data transmitted to AI providers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. No personally identifiable information is included in the queries — only the text you type and any media you attach.

Other Third-Party Services

• Google AdMob — may collect data for personalized advertising when ads are displayed. Privacy Policy
• Brave Search — queries may be sent to Brave Search API to augment responses with real-time web information. Privacy Policy
• Apple — manages all in-app payments. Privacy Policy

Data Retention

• Conversations: Stored only on your device. We have no access to your chat history.
• Server-side: We store only your anonymous device ID and quota counters (daily queries used, purchased credits, subscription status). No conversation content is retained.

Data Security

• All communications use HTTPS encryption.
• Authentication uses JWT tokens with automatic expiration.
• No personally identifiable information is collected or transmitted.

Your Rights

• Delete local data: Uninstalling the app removes all conversations from your device.
• Delete server data: Contact us to request deletion of your anonymous device ID and associated quota data.

Since the app does not collect personally identifiable information, we cannot identify individual users from our server records.

Children's Privacy

OneAnswer AI is rated 12+ and is not intended for children under 12. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
